Inflammatory Bowel Disease can be an overwhelming and life changing struggle, but within those struggles, there is also strength and a unique perspective on life.  Inspired by the words and emotions of my brother, who has ulcerative colitis, and my friend Corey, who has Crohn’s disease, I translated their experiences into art. This inking represents both the challenges they face and their ability to adapt, find silver linings and keep moving forward. Through this piece, I hope to highlight the resilience of the human spirt and honor those who live with this disease.
